EL ARAG OASIS

Our adventure starts with a scenic drive from Siwa Oasis. We cross the arid landscapes with our local desert expert, learning about the area. Closed to the public for the last ten years, the inhabited oases of El Arag and Bahrein are gems waiting to be discovered. As we arrive, take a moment to absorb the tranquility in a landscape of picturesque date palm trees and desert flowers. With some luck you will be able to spot the wild donkeys, the only inhabitants of the place. Lunch will be prepared under the palm trees before heading to our next stop.

As we arrive to  Bahrein Oasis, one of the most remarable things we discover are the Pharaonic tombs carved out in the mountain. A reminder of how important this area was back in the days. Try to discover the hieroglyphs and rich decorations on the tombs! Enjoy the pristine desert landscapes of a place that hasn’t seen visitors in over a decade

As we head back to Siwa, we stop to enjoy a beautiful sunset, with a nice cup of tea and local sweets. Enjoy a typical local dinner in one of the camps and have a dip in the hot thermal waters.
