We start the day from where it all began: Siwa’s greatest historical treasure, the ancient temple of Amun. Alexander the Great himself crossed the entire desert in 331 BC to visit it. We then head to the outskirts to the azure blue waters of the famous salt mines. Floating here is known to be beneficial and healing for your health. We pass by Dakrour mountain, as the road takes us to the famous ancient Cleopatra spring. You can wash off the salt by plunging into the natural water, while enjoying freshly homemade juices. Our last stop in town is Gabl Mawta (Mountain of the Dead): Siwa’s largest necropolis. Some graves still have their original colors and hieroglyphic, dating back to 600 BC. Climb to the top of the mountain for a beautiful panorama view over the oasis. We will leave town to enjoy what makes Siwa so unique: the sunset overlooking its green gardens, enormous lake and the sand dunes.  We then head back to the hot spring camp, where after a freshly prepared local dinner, you can treat yourself to this comfortable natural spa
