Hereby a personal invitation to discover with me one of the most unique places in Egypt. After living for almost a decade in this peculiar oasis, I have created a selection of authentic tours full of local experiences, that take you beyond where any guidebook would.
I’m originally half Dutch and half Colombian and grew up between both worlds. My heart though, has always been in the Middle East, and after first coming to Egypt in 2010, I never left. After visiting Siwa with my mother, things evolved rapidly, and settled in this oasis we now call ‘home’. I speak fluent Arabic and I am learning the local Siwan language. With a passion for philanthropy and local development, I founded the first learning center and Montessori oriented pre-school in the oasis. My interest in anthropology and love for history resulted in wanting to share the uniqueness and enchanting character of this fascinating region. With you, I want to share the autenticity and rich history of the oasis, a part that is often overlooked.
