The Oracle Temple:

Step into History

It is known fot its role in ancient Egypt as the home to an oracle of the god Amun.  Build in the 26th Dinasty (aprox 6th century BC) reffered to Zeus or Jupiuter. The ruins which are still standing today, It was a powerful symbol of the towns wealth. It is believed Alexander The Great was declared son of Amun in this temple. 

One of the most referred oracles in the Ancient Mediterreanan. Its power was such that some rulers sought its advice, while others sent armies to destroy it. 

Surrounded by the ruins of Aghurmy it has beautiful views over a sea of green consisting of Siwa’s great palm trees.
