MOUNTAIN HIKE

We start our trip with a visit to the pharaonic tombs of Daheiba, honeycombed in the mountains. In front of us, the captivating panoramic view of blue waters, green gardens and golden tone sand dunes, starts to unfold.

Our next stop is the beginning of our hiking tour, where we are greeted by our knowledgebale Bedouin guide who possesses a great understanding and connection with nature. With his guidence we will not only navigate the rocky mountains but also get insight into the rich cultural history of the local Bedouin population of Siwa. As we venture deeper in to the mountains, we will stop to enjoy the captivating  rock formation with a cup of Bedouin tea.  As we watch the sunset from a high peak, don’t be surprised to find shells, corals or other fossilized animals, as these mountains were once the ocean’s floor.

At the end of our walking tour, an authentic traditional meal is prepared, in a stunning scenary of mountains under the starry sky.
