The Experience

With your guide you will visit Five Stars KG, a philanthropic initiative since 2018, focused on improving the local education of the oasis and the conditions of local women. You will be warmly welcomed by the local staff and during your visit you can connect with the vibrant lives of children and dedicated local women, working to shape young minds. You will be able to engage in interactive sessions, fostering meaningful interactions with the children, understanding their daily routines, and participating in their educational activities.

By facilitating direct engagement with this project, this experience is tailored for those seeking cultural immersion and community engagement. It is not just about visiting a place but becoming a part of a meaningful initiative, leaving a positive impact, creating ripples of support for education, women empowerment, and community development. You will gain insights into the challenges and successes of educational initiatives in an oasis setting, promoting a deeper understanding of cultural dynamics and societal values.

Note: there are no charges for this trip. Donations of learning materials and/or financial donations are a big help to the local community.

Education in Siwa & Five Stars Kindergarten

What is the current situation? The educational leven of Siwan is one of the poorest of the country. The lack of qualified teachers and resources, leads for children to graduate with insufficient capacity. Girls are the first ones to drop out, while the pressure for early marriage further aggravates the situation.

What is the ideal? Five Stars KG aims to offer quality education to local children while empowering local women to be skillful teachers. By introducing new ways of education, they aim to raise the quality of education in the oasis and simultaneously empower local women through education and financial income.
