Fatnas Island has become an iconic place to watch the sunset over Siwa’s vast golden sand dunes, and the blue lake which mixes with the fresh green of the palm tree gardens. Located at about a ten minute drive from town, Fatnas offers plenty of date trees, a Roman fresh water spring which people like to swim in, before watching the spectacular sunset.
